Introducing "The Bluff" - My First EP
I've been songwriting since the late 1970's and my "stock in trade" was Rock - generally at the heavier end.
When I decided to pursue this seriously a couple of years back, I realised that my tastes had broadened and changed over the years.
On this EP I have re-imagined, into alternative styles, some of my earlier songs such as "Secrets Like Jewels" - which now has a more Indie Rock feel; whilst adopting new styles into more recent material such as "Once Were One" - which has more of an Alternative Rock feel.
With this EP, each song included has some stylistic variations, which is the direction I am looking to take with my music going forward.

“Lovers of symphonic metal listen up… because Victoria K is about to put Australia on the map.” – Heavy Magazine

“With her hauntingly powerful voice and stormy songwriting, Victoria K’s music balances at the nexus of dark fragility and empowering strength.” – Hysteria Magazine.
On the 18th of May, 2019, Victoria K played the main support for Swiss Folk Metal giants Eluveitie at their Melbourne show, and produced a performance that had the crowd chanting for an encore.
“She very quickly won over the crowd and with her voice and great tracks like ‘Lacuna’ and ‘Matrix’ it is very easy to see that she will soon be matching it alongside bands like Evanescence and Nightwish.” – Heavy Magazine.
Victoria K’s debut album is due for release in 2020 and features well known international artists.
“The sense of yearning and resolution in Lacuna is woven with sophistication and skill.” – Hysteria Magazine
“Generally centred upon mezzo-soprano, her slightly deeper range renders her overall sound more haunting than the apparent stylistic influences such as Nightwish and Evanescence.” – Hysteria Magazine.
