From the recording Not For Us
This song started with the "This Love Is Not For Us" line; which I heard in a movie and just thought that it would be great to do a song around this theme. Each verse is a "Scenario" - a separate mini story worked off the overall theme, with the Bridge melding all 3 Scenarios together.
